The Zambia Centre for Accountancy Studies (ZCAS) recently completed a KR 80 million expansion project with state-of-the-art facilities such as video-conferencing, ICT, brand new hostels, new lecture theatres and lecture halls, a well-equipped Recourse Centre. The fifty percent increase in capacity resulted in ZCAS introducing new academic and professional programmes in Economics, Business Law, Business Management, Accounting and Finance, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management and Marketing. These degree programmes are awarded by the University of London, University of Zambia and the University of Greenwich, respectively, while the Global MBA is offered by Lancaster University. The professional Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) program is also among those introduced.
ZCAS will now expand its market to recruit more students from the Sub-Saharan African region. Currently, a limited number of students are enrolled from countries in the region.
ZCAS has been running as a prestigious and successful academic and professional training institution for the past 25 years. During that time, the Centre has been associated with incredible success and progress both in terms of the students who have graduated from ZCAS as well as the Centre itself being recognized and appreciated by both local and international partners. As could be seen from the new programmes, ZCAS is currently working closely with prestigious Universities.
ZCAS is one of the three institutions in Africa and one of the only two in Southern Africa to be conferred with the honor of being a “PLATINUM” institution for ACCA training. ZCAS also carries the CIMA “Learning Quality Partner” accreditation. Further, the Centre is the only institution in Zambia rated as a “Gold” training provider by the Zambia Institute of Certified Accountants (ZICA).
Studying at ZCAS is indeed exploring global educational excellence, and experiencing the wonder of learning in a world-class learning environment.
