Zambia Institute of Marketers

The Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM) launched its marketing program in February 2008. The rational was based on a critical shortage of marketing and entrepreneurial skills in Zambia. As a result of this shortage, many organizations both private and public sector are unable to maximize their potential and become competitive in the business environment. This programme seeks to correct this situation especially now that Zambia has adopted a free market economy policy, which demands a highly skilled human resource. Qualified marketing graduates will play a vital role in enhancing enterprise development in creating a competitive nationality regionally and internationally. The purpose of the programme is to equip the trainee with knowledge; skills and attitude in marketing to enable them perform competently in both the formal and informal sectors of the economy.
