ZCAS EDWelcome to the Zambia Centre for Accountancy Studies (ZCAS) newsletter.  ZCAS is the tertiary accountancy and business training institution of choice in the region. Located in posh gardens in the heart of Lusaka, ZCAS boasts of some of the finest and most advanced teaching and learning facilities in Zambia and the region. Networked computing laboratories, passionate and qualified lecturing staff coupled with air conditioned lecture theatres and halls create a truly unique learning environment and experience for students (both local and regional) aspiring to build their careers on a solid foundation.

The Centre offers 22 training programmes including the Global MBA under the University of Lancaster, an MSc degree in Information Systems management with the University of Greenwich, top up first degrees in Computing, Marketing and Procurement (University of Greenwich), Accounting and Finance (HETACH, Ireland), Business Studies, Economics, Accounting and Finance (University of London), the recently introduced Bachelor of Laws in Commercial Law in conjunction with the University of Zambia and the professional studies in ACCA, CIMA and ZICA, among others.   The completion of a multi-million dollar expansion project as well as the course portfolio diversification programme to include more academic and professional programmes have all been major ventures which ZCAS undertook as part of its strategic response to its growth agenda.

The Global MBA from the University of Lancaster and the top-up degrees offer an excellent challenge that provides students with the confidence to develop in a chosen career. Consequently, if students wish to pursue an internationally recognised university degree programme, we strongly recommend the ZCAS pathway to internationally recognised qualifications. Programmes such as the Association of Business Executives (ABE) and the Cambridge A-Levels allow students to begin their studies at ZCAS and transfer the credits acquired to universities of their choice in the UK, Australia or Canada

With a distinguished history of providing high quality international training programmes (with very high pass rates) to learners across Sub-Saharan Africa, ZCAS is well placed to offer students the opportunity to integrate their educational needs in a highly conducive learning environment and excel academically and in the work place.

The pursuit of excellence has always been a hallmark of ZCAS. Since its founding in 1989, the Centre has played a major role in training accounting and information technology professionals. The Centre has widened its scope in the recent past and added more programmes in business, marketing, management and economics to offer much broader career choices to prospective students and sponsors. They also offer students opportunities to advance in industry and to pursue advanced professional and academic qualifications.  Each year, ZCAS has continued to graduate high quality professionals from the different disciplines on offer. In this regard, the Centre enjoys the “Platinum” accreditation, the highest level of recognition of ACCA, UK and also CIMA “Learning Quality Partner” accreditation.  The Centre is also the only institution in Zambia rated as a “Gold” training provider by the Zambia Institute of Certified Accountants.

We look forward to assisting you to achieve your dream career as we, at ZCAS, make your career our priority.  Further, we are committed to impart the requisite skills to the learners.
